O Waly Waly is a stunning English folk tune, the lyrics of which describe the challenges of love throughout a lifetime. This famous melody was penned for the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire open day 2019, written specifically for current and prospective students to play together and work on the basics of playing and ensemble. As well as melodic and chordal features, this accessible arrangement has flourishes, accompanying riffs and fanfares to test the full dynamic range of the ensemble. The horn parts are available in Eb, the trombones and tuba available in Brass Band treble clef. If you have a different sized ensemble you’d like to try this arrangement with, get in touch!
