This collection of 18 duets for two trumpets is taken from Grieg’s romantic Lyric Pieces for piano. The reason for writing this book was that when playing duets I felt like really beautiful music was often missing to work on phrasing. The movements have incredible variety not just in musical terms but also in the technical challenges they provide. Many of the pieces are also suitable to play with students upwards of Grade 5 ability.

Examples of the movements include flowing waltzes, Norwegian style folk tunes, Marches, Dances, Laments, Lullabys and Mountain Songs!
