Locus Iste, translation ‘This Place’, is a sacred motet written in 1886. A piece that demonstrates both perfect choral unison and simple counterpoint, it is a perfect item for any ensemble working on sound, blending and ensemble. It is a proven repertoire item that works impressively in large acoustics, performed to audiences by Kensington Brass and Charterhouse Brass Quintet. It also works stunningly in a pair with Vexilla Regis.
