Charpentier’s Te Deum has long been recognised as one of the most famous Baroque-era trumpet melodies. This arrangement, penned for Kensington Brass in their 2013-14 season, showcases 2 ornate piccolo trumpet players and provides plenty of space throughout the ensemble parts. It is a perfect opening item for any concert or Baroque themed programme. Accessible and virtuosic, audiences continually love the sparkling sound of the solo trumpet lines.
